Transaction process

Once an offer is accepted, the brokerage desk runs the file. Funds and title move through escrow. Buyers and owners do not exchange wires off this process.

  1. 1

    Offer accepted

Broker confirms terms with both parties in writing.

  2. 2

    Deposit in escrow

Funds sit with Insured Aircraft Title Service. The owner does not receive them yet.

  3. 3

    Logbook review

Digitized records go to the buyer through the brokerage desk.

  4. 4

    Pre-purchase inspection

An approved Part 145 shop completes the PPI.

  5. 5

    Title search cleared

Liens and registration are checked before closing.

  6. 6

    Closing / funds transfer

Escrow releases funds when title and delivery conditions are met.

Active buyers can watch a listing from the account desk. A broker updates the file as each step clears.
